Review of Fabulously Flirty Dry Shampoo - Scandalous

hiya!
So im going to do a review of 'Fabulously Flirty Dry Shampoo - Scandalous'. You've probably never seen this dry shampoo, its definitely not well known. I got this from Saver's which is a shop for beauty/hair/health products which are solder for a cheaper price. I think i paid like £1 for this, which if you ask me, is pretty good. I like the packaging, but i do think the writing is a bit tacky with the whole 'Fabulously Flirty' thing. Actually onto what its like, now it's a lot more whiter then normal dry shampoo's. And i find that i have to keep wiping the bit were it sprays out because it dry's all around it. What i found is that its okay, like its just OKAY. Its not amazing, but its not awfully bad. The whole point of it is to soak up all the oils in your hair, it does an alright job of that. But what i can tell you is that it gives you soooo much volume. I find that the 'batiste' dry shampoo does a better job to get rid of the oils and just the greasy look. I now use this dry shampoo for volume, don't really use it for actually getting the oils out your hair. I think dry shampoo's are amazing, like im just fascinated with them, like how do they work lol. But yeah, i'd give it a 6/10. But if you do want something that gives volume then try this!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

Hiya chaps!
So I'm going to do a review of collection 2000's concealer. I've had this for SUCH a long time. Like about 3-4 years. Well before it started to become 'big' on youtube. I never really thought much of it when i first got it, i don't no why, i think it's because i didn't really no how to apply it properly. Anyway, i like the packaging because it looks professional and its not over the top its just perfect. The actually product it's self goes on well, it's a creamy consistency. I can find sometimes it can be 'cakey' so i only put a little bit on problem areas, a little of it goes a long way. I think one of the reasons why i wasn't so fond of it at first is because i applied it with my finger, now i use my benefit concealer brush and it goes on so much better, really blends into the skin properly and doesn't look streaky. So i advise to apply it with some kind of job because i find my finger didn't do anything good haha (for me anyway). You can get it from boots for £4.19, i checked superdrugs site and it wasn't on there, i don't no why. I can remember this being a lot cheaper when i first bought it, maybe £2-£3? I still think for the price it's quite good. It lasts a long time, about 5-6 hours? which is a lot better then other higher priced concealers that i have used. You might have to re-apply it threw out the day if you feel like its faded.  I seem to think that collection 2000 is a bit of a cheap make up brand, all of there other products that I've had just don't do anything for me. They either don't last long or just are plain not right, just seem like the 'cheap' version of something. But it's different for this concealer, its the best concealer that I've tried. A lot of beauty guru's will agree with me, its quite a good well known concealer. You can't beat it. Collection 2000 need to get their other products up to the standards of this concealer! Anyway, out i would give it a 8.5/10!
I hope this helped, thanks for reading!

Ecotools Foundation Brush

I've heard a lot about ecotools and that there one of the best types of make up brushes so i thought i'd try one! So the first eotools brush i got is the foundation brush. First of all i just want to comment on how cute the packaging is, you'd think because they use more natural materials they'd make it look tacky but no i think its look just perfect! The actual packaging it's in can be used to actually keep the brush in, i think this is really clever because i have problems in my make up bag were sometimes something will leak and then go all over everything in the bag but this will be protected. Now the actual brush is soooooo soft, the bristles aren't to hard or to flimsy. The brush is appealing not eye watering, i mean it's not over decorated and to me its just perfect. It doesn't feel like its going to break, I've had other make up brushes that have broke within a week, it really feels like this brush would last a long time.

Now actually applying foundation is pretty nice too, at first you get streaks but after you blend it in properly it leaves a really nice finish. The fact that there's no cruelty to animals involved and nearly all of the materials used to make it are recycled make it more of a pleasure to buy this brush. The price for this brush is £7.99, its a little pricey but if you want a good foundation brush then you need to invest in one. I've figured it really is better investing in more expensive products because they do such a better job, I've gave up on buying cheap products and hoping they'll be good but they never turn out good! Well some are but most aren't haha. Anyway i do really like this brush and i will be getting some more ecotools brushes, i'd give it a 9.5/10. Thanks for reading :-)

Colorsport 30 day mascara

My eyelashes are naturally mousy blonde, i find that darker eyelashes will make your eyes appear bigger. I heard about dying eyelashes threw my step nan and I've always wanted to try it. I got mine from a beauty shop that is known for discounts and it was £4.99 and I've seen this advertised some were else for like £8 so i think the price i got it for is quite good! I wouldn't expect dying your eyelashes to make a major change. I thought that dying my eyelashes would change my whole face, it has a little but i expected to much. It did make my eyelashes darker so it did work(i didn't get mine in black dye, i got mine in dark brown) i was happy with the result. So i did it for a second time making sure i got every eye lash and i think they look pretty good now. I also dyed my eyebrows too so i did and i found that dying your eye brows does really change your face. I didn't think i would notice it that much and people at school noticed and said they liked my eyebrows and eyelashes so i was quite chuffed that people noticed! The great thing about the dye is that it makes the colour look so natural, its weird. It really is a great product and you get so much. You only need to use about 5% of each bottle each time you apply it on your eyelashes. It's going to last me ages and when i feel like my eye lashes have faded (because its a 30 day dye, not perminant) i can just do it again and i won't have to purchase another set. I'm quite happy i found this, i would give it a 9.5/10! just be aware when it gets in your eye it hurts, a lot! Anyway, thanks for reading :-)

V05 Miracle Concentrate

So i bought this last week. I've used it a few times. I liked the look of it, compact and just interesting and it look liked it could do miracles. Anyway, when i used it i found it made my hair flat if i was blow drying it. But if i used it after my hair is dried it made my hair quite soft and especially after second day hair your hair starts to get dry and this kind of add moisture to it. If you have hair that's naturally wavy, flicky then i wouldn't used it for blow drying if you don't want flat hair of course! but i think this would defiantly help people with naturally wavy, curly, frizzy hair because it does really help fly away hairs. I quite like the smell but some people might not, its not a strong smell in the bottle but on your hair you can smell it and it smells yummy, i can't really explain what it smells like. I bought mine for £2.99 which is quite good, might be cheaper or more expensive, just depends were you get it. Thanks for reading!:-)

Tinted pink tiger top from Primark

So primarks usual stuff isn't really up to my taste. Some of there stuff is nice (some of their bags are quite nice), but its not that nice that i want to buy it. But about 2 weeks ago i was shopping with my friend Eva and my other friend had a top with a wolf on it. I loved it so much i wanted to get it, so i went over to the section and there was like a whole selection of different wolf/panda tops. They all looked so nice, i don't know there just my taste. Anyway i only had £5 on me so i could only get one (picture below) for once primark are actually starting to sell quite nice things. The top was £5 but some of the other tops were like £4. To me i think its a great price, not too cheap - not too pricey. Next time i get some money i am going back to get more, there just so lovely!
I also love the fact its sleeveless and its tinted pink and the tiger is just amazing, really do love this top!
Thanks for reading :-)

American Cream by Lush

So i got this at christmas, i heard so many good reviews from it so i really wanted to try it. The smell isn't amazing but i can put up with it, i can't really explain what it smells like but it smell like it's been made by natural stuff. The first time i used it i hated it, it didn't do anything to my hair. I left it for about 3 weeks and i used it again and it magically did wonders to my hair. I was so shocked, i didn't know why it didn't do anything to my hair the first time i used it. Since I've been using every other wash. It makes my hair so soft and like not stiff, it that makes sense. And even though it doesn't smell that great in the bottle, the smell it leaves in your hair is nice. It's so weird. I got the medium size and it was £8.50 which is quite pricey but you could use it now and then like once a week and it will last longer (small bottle is £4.25 and big bottle is £13.50). I've used about half of mine and I've had mine since christmas, but i didn't use it for 3 weeks and i do use quite a lot each time i use it like the size of my palm. It also makes your hair quite shiny and it just makes it so soft. I would give it a 8/10. Thanks for reading !:-)

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment

Okay so i got this a while ago, about 2-3 months? For the first month i used it every time i washed my hair, and for the second month i used it every other time i washed my hair so i washed my hair with it then the next time i washed my hair i didn't use it etc. So first of all, the smell is amazing. I heard from a few people that they don't like the smell, i don't know whats not to like about it. I love the smell of all Lee Stafford hair products. I got this when it was on offer, 2 Lee Stafford products for £9 and i got 2 of these, 1 for me and 1 for my mum. I didn't mind spending £4.50 on it because for something like this you are going to have to spend a reasonable amount of money, but it's usual price is £7.99 and for me that seems a bit pricey. Anyway, no product can actually make your hair grow, the purpose of hair treatments for hair growth are to make the environment of the root better. And i think this did alright, its not amazing but i did notice my hair grew a little bit more then usual and that's before i started taking sea kelp and zinc (i can do a proper post about hair growth, comment below if you do want me to). The first time i used it i used it all over my hair, your ment to do that but i stop doing it after a week because i noticed how much i had already used. The tub might seem big but you have to use a quite a lot so you will notice how long the tub actually lasts and that's not that long. When i did use it all over my hair i did notice how soft my hair was, it really does make a different in the condition of your hair (Just to clear up my hair has never stopped growing at a certain length because it says on the tub that its ment for hair that can't grow past a certain length) and so if your willing to invest in buying pricey hair growth product then i do recommend this. You'll have to buy a new tub probably every month if you use it all over your hair, if you just used it on your roots then it should last about 2 months. After i used all of mine up i started using my mums because she still had loads left. I do like this product but i mainly use  it for the fact it makes my hair so soft, not for the actual hair growth. When i get money, i will be purchasing another tub of this because i do like it. Some people might get greasy hair from this though, because you do have to put it on your roots but i don't suffer with this. I would give it a 7/10. Sorry this is so long, thank you for reading!:-)

Free Soap and Glory mascara with ELLE magazine

I'm a little late posting about this but i'm just gonna do a post about it anyway. So i've never actually bought a ELLE magazine but i was watching one of my favorite youtubers (http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePersianbabe) and she mentioned that they are including a mascara by soap and glory and straight away i needed to get it! I was mostly looking forward to owning a mascara that is worth £10 and only buying the magazine and the mascara for £3.90, but i was looking forward to looking threw the magazine too. I was a little disappointed though because all there seems to be is pictures, i wanted there to be more articles or reviews of beauty products but i guess ELLE are not that type of magazine, but some of the clothes on the models were quite nice. Anyway, now for the mascara, one coat of this doesn't really do much but if you add about 2-3 coats then its the right amount. I was disappointed thought because for its price which is £10 i wouldn't buy it again, its just not worth the money. I've bought other mascara's cheaper then this which are much better. But at least i didn't waste £10 trying it for the first time!

There's something about soap and glory that just makes me want to buy all their products. The packaging is amazing, there body stuff smells amazing and i don't know really, their just so pretty. Thanks for reading :-)

Barry M nail varnishes

Review of Barry M Nail Varnishes
I picked up 2 new nail polishes last saturday ( purple and blue one, i've had the grey one for a while) Let me start of by saying how pretty the packaging is. Its not tacky or not over the top and to me Barry M couldn't of done better. Also you can see that the actual nail varnish itself isn't cheap, or looks like it wouldn't do its job. Now, let me to get onto what the varnish is actually like, the consistency is perfect (not too runny or too thick) which is great because i really hate it when a varnish is thick because it seems to dry up in the bottle a lot quicker and when a varnish is runny and it seems to take ages to dry or run down the side of your finger nails when applying. Applying the varnish is nice to, it just glides on. What caught my eye though was how bright the colours are. There is a wide range of colours and they are all so lovely. But some colours like the purple one (in the picture below) doesn't come up as bright as it looks from the bottle. It took me one coat of the grey varnish (picture bellow) to be its actual colour it shows in the bottle, for the purple varnish it took me THREE coats to get to the actual colour of the bottle. I don't mind applying two coats but three, it was too thick on my nails and you have to spend a good hour letting them dry properly with 3 coats. I think it just may be some colours that need more layers, i haven't tried each colour of the whole range so i can't speak for any other colours except the 3 bellow in this picture. For drying time it took about 5-10 minutes to dry but you still don't want to do any heavy work with you hands for about 20 minutes, because if you pressed hard enough you could still make a dent in the varnish. The varnish didn't start chipping till about 2-3 days after applying and it was only the very ends were the nail varnish came off a bit, i reckon it would stay for longer but i hate having nail varnish on when its chipped. Over all, for the price which is £2.99, i think its worth the money. I love the packing, theres a wide range of different colours and i think there worth there money :)
